A golden sample looking good on a desk does not guarantee mass production success. Importers and project buyers frequently face risks related to dimming instability, poor light uniformity, and inconsistent color rendering when scaling up.
For North American residential projects, 120V TRIAC dimming is standard, but pairing the wrong driver with legacy dimmers causes LED fixture flicker, buzzing, and sudden brightness jumps (pop-on/drop-out). Commercial LED lighting often requires 120–277V with 0–10V control, facing similar low-end instability issues.
LIBO addresses this during sample development. We evaluate driver selection and dimming behavior against target dimmer lists or control systems. Dimming compatibility and low-level stability can be verified before pilot production, reducing installation callbacks.
Discuss Your Dimming Requirement
Poor optical design results in harsh light, visible LED dots, and uncomfortable glare. A ceiling fixture might be too bright in the center and dark at the edges, while under cabinet lights might reflect distinct hot spots on countertops.
We optimize LED spacing, optical chamber depth, diffusers, and lenses based on the application. For under cabinet lights, we engineer diffusers to avoid visible dots. For commercial linear fixtures, we improve light distribution and can provide UGR control options where applicable to ensure visual comfort.
Stocking multiple CCT SKUs (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, etc.) increases inventory costs. Furthermore, poor LED binning leads to fixture-to-fixture color differences, and low CRI makes interior finishes look dull.
To reduce SKU complexity, 5CCT selectable options (e.g., 2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K) are available across selected product families like flush mounts and downlights. We also prioritize CRI90+ configurations and manage LED batch consistency to ensure uniform color quality across your entire shipment.
Supported by around 10 structural engineers and 6 electronic engineers, we translate your project requirements into mass-producible fixtures.
We assess cabinet dimensions, cutout size, mounting hole positions, and junction box compatibility to ensure physical fit.
Matching driver space, wire connections, and dimming protocols (TRIAC or 0-10V) against your certification targets.
Developing physical samples for optical, thermal, and electrical evaluation before final approval.
Evaluating production between China and Indonesia based on product readiness, volume, and sourcing requirements.
Transitioning approved samples into controlled pilot runs and consistent mass production.
Testing scope depends on the product and customer specification. We bridge the gap between sample approval and mass production inspection through rigorous in-house evaluation.
ETL and FCC certified configurations are available for applicable product families and project requirements, ensuring electrical compliance for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
Specific ratings like Damp Location, Wet Location, or IC Rated are available on relevant models. Our manufacturing process is supported by ISO 9001 quality management and BSCI social compliance.
Founded in 2004, our ~15,000 m² facility and ~300 employees focus on one goal: ensuring your mass production matches the approved sample. We strictly manage incoming component consistency, LED/driver version control, assembly, and final shipment inspection.
North American lighting buyers increasingly need more flexibility in where products are manufactured. LIBO operates manufacturing in China and Indonesia. Depending on the fixture type, production readiness, and project requirements, selected lighting programs can be evaluated for production through either location.

Additional manufacturing capacity for selected lighting programs, giving North American buyers more flexibility in sourcing diversification, capacity planning, and project-specific country-of-origin requirements.
When a North American customer evaluates a new lighting program, the production plan can be reviewed together with product drawings, certification requirements, target volume, packaging specifications, and requested country of origin.
We regularly meet with North American buyers face-to-face to showcase new samples, discuss specifications, evaluate new projects, and understand evolving market requirements.

Determine if the fixture is for Indoor (dry/damp), Outdoor (wet location), or Smart Lighting environments. This dictates housing material and IP rating.
Evaluate Lumens (light output) rather than just Watts (energy consumed). Higher efficacy fixtures deliver more lumens per watt.
Select 2700K-3000K for warm residential spaces, 3500K-4000K for offices/kitchens, or 5000K for security. 5CCT selectable models offer flexibility.
CRI 80 is standard for basic utility, but CRI 90+ is recommended for retail, vanity mirrors, and high-end residential to show true colors.
Always confirm the control system before sourcing. Residential projects typically use 120V TRIAC, while commercial spaces often require 120-277V with 0-10V dimming. Smart controls may bypass traditional dimmers entirely.
| Specification | Residential Lighting | Commercial Lighting |
|---|---|---|
| Voltage | Typically 120V | Commonly 120–277V |
| Dimming | TRIAC / Phase-cut often used | 0–10V commonly required |
| Installation | J-Box mount, Canless recessed | T-Grid suspended, Hardwire conduit |
| Typical Products | Flush Mounts, Vanity, Puck Lights | Linear, Downlights, Security |
