Smooth Light Without Distracting LED Dots
When distributors evaluate a ceiling light series across several fixture sizes, visible LED dots or bright centers can make otherwise similar models look inconsistent after installation. A specification sheet shows lumen output, but it doesn't reveal how the luminous surface actually looks to the end user.
During product development and sample evaluation, LIBO reviews LED layout spacing in relation to the diffuser structure. By optimizing optical diffusion, our engineering team helps reduce harsh glare and minimizes visible hot spots. This allows buyers to compare the actual lighting appearance and approve a series that maintains visual consistency across mass production.
Request a Lighting SampleOne Color Temperature Does Not Fit Every Project
Different spaces require different lighting atmospheres. Hospitality spaces often specify warmer tones, while utility areas or modern kitchens may require crisp, cool lighting. Stocking multiple fixed-CCT SKUs increases inventory pressure and forecast complexity for distributors.
Selectable CCT Options
Many of our LED ceiling light models feature selectable CCT (e.g., 3CCT or 5CCT, depending on the model). This allows installers to adjust the color temperature on-site, meaning one fixture can cover multiple project requirements, helping distributors reduce the number of SKUs they need to manage.
High CRI for Accurate Colors
Low Color Rendering Index (CRI) can make wood finishes, interior materials, and skin tones appear dull or unnatural. For residential and retail projects where material presentation matters, we offer models with CRI 90+ options to ensure architectural finishes are represented accurately.
Engineered for Reliable Installation & Performance
Junction Box Mounting
Designed for standard ceiling junction-box installation. Mounting brackets and hole alignments are structured to reduce repositioning time during large-scale fixture replacement projects.
Dimming Compatibility
Selected models feature TRIAC or 0-10V dimming drivers. We evaluate dimming behavior under specified conditions to confirm low-end dimming stability and reduce flicker risks.
Low-Profile Construction
Housing designs focus on maximizing internal wiring space while keeping the exterior footprint flush against the ceiling, accommodating locations with limited vertical clearance.
Location Ratings
Depending on the model, fixtures are designed and evaluated for Dry, Damp, or Wet locations, allowing buyers to specify appropriate lighting for bathrooms, laundry rooms, or covered outdoor areas.
Driver Design
Integrated or external drivers are engineered with surge protection considerations and subjected to temperature-rise testing to confirm critical electronic components operate within safe limits.
Multiple Sizes
Product series typically include multiple diameter options (e.g., 7", 9", 12", 16"). This allows project buyers to maintain a cohesive design language across hallways, closets, and main living areas.
LED Ceiling Light Applications
Designed for diverse environments, our fixtures help contractors and developers meet specific lighting requirements across residential and light-commercial properties.
Kitchens & Utility
High lumen output and crisp CCT options provide clear task lighting over countertops and workspaces.
Multifamily Corridors
Low-profile designs and consistent batch production ensure a uniform look across long apartment hallways.
Bedrooms & Living
Warm CCT options and smooth dimming compatibility allow end-users to adjust the ambiance easily.
Bathrooms & Laundry
Damp-rated models withstand humid environments, offering safe and reliable illumination.
How to Choose LED Ceiling Lights for Your Project
Selecting the right fixture involves more than just checking the wattage. Use this guide to verify key specifications before requesting a quote or approving a sample.
Evaluate the room area, ceiling height, and replacement footprint. A larger diameter (e.g., 16") covers old paint rings during retrofits, while smaller sizes (7"-9") suit closets or narrow hallways.
Do not select based on watts alone. Confirm the required illumination (lumens) based on the number of fixtures and room size, then check the fixture's efficacy (lumens per watt) for energy compliance.
Decide between fixed CCT (lower cost, specific application) or selectable CCT (inventory reduction, on-site flexibility). Warm (3000K) for hospitality, Neutral/Cool (4000K+) for workspaces.
Confirm if the actual project requires Dry, Damp, or Wet location ratings. Damp rating is typically required for bathrooms (outside the shower) and covered porches.
Verify the project voltage (120V vs 120-277V) and the required dimming protocol (TRIAC/ELV vs 0-10V). Ensure dimmer compatibility to prevent flicker issues.
Check the ceiling construction. Most flush mounts attach to standard 3.5" or 4" junction boxes. Verify the mounting bracket design and wiring space in the housing.
Standard CRI 80 is sufficient for utility areas. Specify CRI 90+ for high-end residential, retail, or hospitality environments where color presentation is critical.
For North American procurement, verify that the specific model carries the required safety listings (e.g., ETL or UL) and EMC compliance (FCC) before import.
Installation & Junction Box Compatibility
A ceiling light that looks good on paper must still be efficient to install on-site. We design our mounting structures to accommodate standard ceiling junction boxes, focusing on practical contractor needs.
- Mounting Bracket: Designed with versatile mounting holes to fit various J-box sizes (e.g., 3.5" and 4") and reduce repositioning.
- Wiring Space: Internal housing is structured to allow sufficient room for wire connections and wire nuts without pinching.
- Flush Appearance: Final fixture alignment mechanisms help ensure the canopy sits flush against the ceiling surface.
*Installation structure varies by model. Always refer to the specific installation drawing for the selected fixture.

OEM & Private-Label Project Support
For private-label brands and large-scale projects, we support specification customization. Confirm your requirements with our engineering team before sample production.
Specification Review
We review your required wattage, fixture size, CCT, CRI, dimming protocol, and housing finish against our structural and electronic capabilities.
Sample & Testing
Upon drawing confirmation, we produce an engineering sample. We conduct photometric and electrical testing before submitting the sample for your approval.
Mass Production
Once the sample, packaging, labels, and certifications are approved, mass production begins, monitored to maintain consistency with the approved sample.
Testing & Quality Verification
To help procurement teams control risk, we execute specific laboratory and production evaluations. These tests verify that the design meets safety parameters and photometric claims before shipping.
Photometric Testing
Used to confirm wattage, total lumen output, efficacy, CCT, and CRI match the specification sheet.
Temperature-Rise Evaluation
Confirms that critical electronic components (like the driver and LED chips) operate within safe temperature limits under specified conditions.
Dimming & Flicker Evaluation
Evaluates the fixture's behavior with designated dimmers to check for low-end stability and visible flicker.
Production Aging Test
Conducted during mass production to identify early-life electronic failures before packaging.
Certifications & Compliance
Certifications vary by model and project requirement. Contact LIBO for applicable reports and certificates for your specific North American procurement project.
